Deck Crane for Barge 50-100t – Hook/Grab/Spreader
Product Introduction
The MAXTECH Heavy‑Duty Barge Deck Crane is a large deck crane specially designed for barge operations, widely used on bulk barges, container barges and work barges. Lifting capacity ranges from 50 to 100 tonnes, and the working radius is customised to the barge size, typically from 10 to 40 metres.
The crane features a robust structure, mounted to the barge deck via flanged connection or welding to ensure stability even in rough seas. It is constructed from high‑strength marine steel, with key structural components optimised through finite element analysis (FEA) to meet FEM A6–A8 duty class for heavy continuous operation.
The MAXTECH Heavy‑Duty Barge Deck Crane can be equipped with hooks, grabs (for bulk cargo) and container spreaders (20ft/40ft) – a single machine capable of bulk handling, container lifting and general cargo operations. Attachment changeover is quick and easy, allowing the operator to switch tools in a short time, maximising equipment utilisation.
The crane adopts a modular design, with major assemblies (hoist, slewing, luffing) as independent modules, facilitating maintenance and component replacement and reducing downtime and repair costs. The crane can be supplied with classification society certificates from BV, ABS, CCS, NK, LR, etc., meeting the compliance requirements of vessels operating on any route.
