In the global maritime equipment market, marine cranes, as core equipment for port loading/unloading and ship operations, their technical strength and product quality directly affect the efficiency and safety of maritime logistics. Currently, a number of well-known manufacturers deeply engaged in this field have emerged worldwide, forming a diversified competitive landscape. Finland-based Konecranes is globally renowned for its full range of port crane solutions, leading the industry in quayside container crane and ship deck crane technologies. Germany’s Liebherr holds a prominent position in deep-sea operation equipment with its precision-engineered heavy-duty offshore cranes. Japan’s Tadano has won favor from small and medium-sized port clients with the flexible performance of its lightweight knuckle boom cranes. Amid this global competitive landscape, China’s MAXTECH is stepping into the ranks of global high-quality marine crane manufacturers with its strong customization capabilities and reliable quality, emerging as a notable new force in the industry.
Since focusing on the maritime equipment sector, MAXTECH has achieved remarkable results in the R&D and manufacturing of various cranes, especially forming distinct advantages in the field of port and ship deck cranes. Its product portfolio covers a full range of equipment including marine cranes, offshore cranes, ship deck cranes, knuckle boom cranes, and telescopic boom cranes, which can accurately meet the operational needs of different scenarios such as bulk carriers, container ships, and offshore platforms. By deeply integrating material mechanics, hydraulic systems, and intelligent control technologies, MAXTECH’s crane products not only possess high-strength load-bearing performance but also meet international standards in core indicators such as corrosion resistance, wind resistance, and operational accuracy, making it a preferred partner for clients in many countries and regions around the world.
Recently, MAXTECH has achieved frequent successes in customized order delivery and services, verifying its product strength through practical cases. Just last week, a 2.5-ton 40-meter knuckle boom marine crane, custom-built for a Mauritian client, completed final commissioning and smoothly departed from MAXTECH’s production base. Tailored to the high-temperature and high-humidity operating environment of Mauritian ports, this knuckle boom crane features specially optimized hydraulic system sealing performance and anti-corrosion coatings on metal structures. With a maximum working radius of 40 meters, it can cover the deck operation range of most small and medium-sized ships, while its rated load of 2.5 tons can accurately match the local bulk cargo-dominated loading and unloading needs. Once put into use, it will significantly improve the client’s port operation efficiency.
At the same time, another 20-ton 15-meter knuckle boom marine crane customized for a Malaysian client has been delivered to the client’s site and entered the intensive installation phase. To ensure the equipment accurately fits the client’s existing ship deck layout, MAXTECH specially dispatched a technical team consisting of 2 senior engineers to provide full-process installation guidance on-site. The engineer team is not only responsible for the positioning and fixing of the crane main body and the connection and commissioning of hydraulic pipelines but also conducts special training on the intelligent control system of this ship deck crane for the client’s operators. So far, the installation work has progressed extremely smoothly. The slewing mechanism and luffing system of the crane have completed preliminary commissioning, with sensitive response to various movements, and smooth delivery is expected as scheduled.
The dual guarantee of strong product strength and soft service capabilities has enabled MAXTECH to accumulate an excellent reputation in the global market, and this recognition has recently received authoritative endorsement. Last week, the Boao CEO Forum was held with the theme of "Riding the Momentum · Embracing New Beginnings: Brand Strategy and Industrial Upgrading in the New Globalization Landscape". At this forum, MAXTECH’s CEO Zhang Xinyue was awarded the "Global Future Entrepreneur Award for Globalization" in recognition of the company’s technological breakthroughs in the manufacture field, achievements in global layout, and contributions to industry development. This honor not only affirms MAXTECH’s past achievements but also highlights the industry’s recognition of the technical strength and globalization capabilities of Chinese crane brands.
From joining the ranks of global high-quality manufacturers to continuously securing customized orders, and from technological innovation breakthroughs to gaining industry honors, MAXTECH’s development path reflects the growth trajectory of Chinese maritime equipment enterprises. In the future, MAXTECH will continue to focus on the core technology R&D of cranes, further expand the market share of high-end products such as offshore cranes and intelligent ship deck cranes, and write more brilliant chapters of "Made in China" in the global marine crane field with higher-quality products and services.
